Hans Jakusch

Sustainable energy engineer and photographer, Hans discovered another meaning for energy-saving in yoga: “learning to save energy by moving from where you are.” His preferred sport was running until he damaged his knee in a skiing accident. Hans started yoga as a safe alternative way of exercising. He loves seeing other sports men and women benefit by using yoga to create strength and flexibility in the body as well as calm the mind. For him, proper diet and relaxation are essential but often missed when creating a well-rounded yoga practice. Relatively new to the world of Yoga, Hans started practicing in 2012. He followed his first teacher training at the Sivananda school of Yoga (RYT 200) in 2013. His second Teacher training was in traditional Vinyasa Krama in India in 2016, followed, in 2017, by a Hot Yoga Teacher training.
