Why We Heat the Air in Our Hot Yoga Studio
At Hot Yoga Eindhoven, we heat the air rather than using infrared panels. Here’s why this approach benefits your body and health:
- Even, Comfortable Warmth
Heating the air warms the entire room evenly. You won’t have “hot spots” or areas that feel cold. This ensures you enjoy a consistent and comfortable practice, no matter where you are in the studio.
- Gentle on Your Lungs and Breathing
Warm, slightly humid air is easier to breathe than the dry heat produced by infrared panels. It keeps your respiratory system comfortable and reduces the risk of irritation to your throat and nasal passages.
- Supports Sweat & Detoxification
Heated air encourages healthy sweating throughout the body. This helps you release toxins, warms your muscles, and prepares your body for deeper stretches safely.
- Traditional Hot Yoga Experience
Our approach preserves the authentic hot yoga experience. The combination of warm air and humidity gently challenges your body, improves circulation, and enhances flexibility, just as hot yoga was designed to do.
- Safer for Your Health
Because the heat is spread evenly through the room, the risk of overheating or localized heat intensity is lower than with infrared panels. You can focus on your practice safely, without worrying about concentrated heat on certain parts of your body.
In 2020 we set in more ventilation shafts to increase the circulation of fresh air throughout the room for safety, comfort and to keep the circulation clean and without risk of transmitting air-borne viruses, a risk in rooms where the air is filtered and recirculated.
