Our classes page describes the classes we offer, why we use heat.
Online reservation. Arrive around 10 minutes before the class starts to settle in.
Check your parking App (Seety for instance shows you where paid and free parking is) before coming so you understand where free parking is.
All levels are welcome. Hot Yogalates and Pilates can be more physically demanding. Hot Core 60 is a good Hot Yoga beginner’s class. Yin Yang eases you into Flow and introduces Yin.
Women wear shorts / light yoga pants you can move in & sports bra/ Men wear shorts/ breathable sports clothing you can move in. (T-shirts optional).
Bring 2 towels ideally: one large one for your yoga mat and one to shower. Yoga mat is included with your first class. You can rent or buy yoga mats & non-slip yoga towels in the studio.
Hydrate well before a hot yoga class. Drink at least 2 litres (around 8 glasses) over the day before a class. Bring a water bottle with you.
Practice on an empty stomach. Try not to eat for around 2 hours before class. If you need to snack, something light like fruit is a good option.
The heat may be challenging the first time, skip postures if you need to and focus on slowing down your breathing.
Focus on keeping your breathing easy. Breath through your nose, mouth closed. Focussing on exhale is calming.
Try to stay in the hot room. The teacher will keep an eye on you and ask you how you feel. Kneel down, take breaks.
Yoga classes are in English, and most of our teachers understand and speak Dutch.
Tea is available after class – we serve green, spice or herbal teas.
