Continue on your voyage of self-discovery with a 200-hour Registered Teacher Training Programme (RYS Registered 200-hour training with Yoga Alliance). Yoga Teacher Training EindhovenWhat yoga is, where it comes from, the eight limbs of yoga. Introduction to the Yoga Sutra and Samkhya philosophy. The subtle energy system, functional yoga anatomy and physiology. Sound and mantra, meditation and Ayurveda.  How to teach and construct a balanced yoga class. An introduction to Vinyasa Flow and a modern, safe approach to Hot Yoga. Importantly, you will develop a personal yoga practice to adapt for life.

 

Come with your questions! Think about what questions you would like answered! Be curious. We encourage your participation in this interactive programme on every level. Suggested reading before starting, as a Summer book, is How Yoga Works by Geshe Michael Roach.

  • you are interested in where traditional yoga and science meet
  • you want to gain perspective and develop personal practice,
  • you want to share the tools of yoga in individual /group settings.

August hours – first weekend and a couple of weekdays broken down as an example
Fri 23: 10.30 – 11.30 (Introduction – intentions – What yoga is) 11.30 – 12.30 (Practice sequence- not heated yoga – includes sun salutation) (Lunch-pause 30 mins) 13.00- 13.30 posture clinic, 13.30 – 14.00 practice teaching points) (15 min break),  14.15 – 15.45 Yoga History and Philosophy, (15 min break), 16.10 -17.30 Yoga Philosophy (Samkhya and Yoga Sutras introduced) continued.
Sat 24: 12.00 – 13.00 (Practice Sequence), 13.00 -13.30 Posture clinic, 13.30 – 14.00 (Practice teaching points). (30 minute lunch-pause) 14.30 – 16.30 (Mantra and Sound (both Mantra and Sound sessions are also open as a workshop for yoga teachers and practitioners), 17.00 – 19.00 (Mantra and Sound).
Sun 25:13.00 -14.00 (Practice Sequence) (30 min lunch-pause) 14.30 – 16.30 (Mantra and Sound), 17.00 – 19.00 (Mantra and Sound).
